sunday drives with my parents sometimes went as far as the butter church
we would only look from the car
and there were some stories of where the name came from
a jersey cow and butter sold to pay for something...maybe the building...not sure
later my father (Eric Gravenor) did a painting of the church as did others including Max Maynard
